Programme Overview
BSDC’s Consumer Electronics programme trains students to diagnose, repair and build electronic devices from the ground up — starting with components and soldering, and progressing to power supplies, digital circuits, microcontrollers and modern systems like CCTV and IoT.
What You'll Learn
- Reading, testing and soldering electronic components
- Building and testing AC-to-DC power supplies
- Diagnosing audio, video and household devices
- Semiconductors, diodes, transistors and logic circuits
- Microcontrollers, circuit design and C programming
- CCTV, alarm systems, wireless and IoT fundamentals
How You'll Train
Training is bench-based and practical: students test, fault-find and build on real equipment in small supervised groups, guided by both theory and hands-on demonstration.
